WERE/CODC/CODF - Purpose
The ABAWD exemptions change for applications received on or after 09/01/2023. See the
prior policy for the ABAWD exemptions before 09/01/2023. FAA has an approved ABAWD waiver through 09/30/2023 that suspends the ABAWD time limit. Though the ABAWD time limit is waived, FAA staff must continue to follow the procedures and AZTECS keying procedures for reporting purposes.
WERE, CODC, and CODF are used to track and display information regarding a participant's CA and NA eligibility. Statistics are compiled and reports generated to meet federal reporting requirements.
Edit messages are displayed on WERE to prompt staff to key codes in the WERE EXPT RSN AF fields.
An asterisk ( * ) displays on WERE next to each participant when all of the following apply:
●The participant is age 18 – 51
●The TI BEGIN field on CODF is blank
When an asterisk displays on WERE, the worker must key the date in the TI BEGIN field on CODF.
