CA Sanction Duration

The following policy outlines how long a sanction must last and when a sanction may be ended:
 
A minimum of one-month sanction penalty must be served once the sanction is imposed. (See Sanctions in Inactive Cases)
End the Jobs sanction after the one-month minimum penalty when the noncompliant participant has not received another instance of noncompliance by the tenth calendar day of the current sanction month.
End the DCSS sanction after the one-month minimum penalty when FAA receives the Sanctions: Noncompliance/Compliance email from DCSS.
End the Immunization sanction after one month minimum penalty when the noncompliance participant provides written statement of compliance or Immunization good cause.
End the School Attendance sanction after the one month minimum penalty when the noncompliant participant provides verification of school attendance or evident of School Attendance Good Cause.
End the Drug Conviction sanction after the one-month minimum penalty when the noncompliant participant provides proof that they have completed the requirements to end the CA Drug Conviction Sanction.
End the Voluntary Quit sanction after the one-month minimum penalty.
 
When the budgetary unit reports and verifies that the noncompliant participant has left the budgetary unit prior to the effective date of the sanction, do not impose the sanction. It may be necessary to authorize a CA Supplement. Follow the procedures to remove the noncompliant participant in Removing a Participant.
 
Thoroughly document the DOC field on DISA, and the case file(g) with the reason for the action taken.
