State Assistance Eligibility and Benefit Determination - Prospective Eligibility Determination
Participants must meet prospective eligibility requirements before a budgetary unit can receive benefits. To be considered prospectively eligible, the budgetary unit must meet the following income limits:
Complete the prospective eligibility income test for the budgetary unit by projecting the following circumstances:
●Key income anticipated to exist for the benefit month in the applicable income fields on STAA. See the following for detailed policy regarding income:
●Document resources anticipated to exist for the benefit month and their affect on eligibility on CADO or the CADO Extension Form (CEF). (See

●When all necessary information is keyed on STAA, press ENTER.
AZTECS automatically calculates and displays a benefit amount on STAA when the budgetary unit is determined to be either of the following:
●Prospectively eligible for both income tests
●Prospectively ineligible for one or both income tests
