Requirements for Ending the CA Drug Conviction Sanction
When the CA case is sanctioned for failure to comply with the Drug Conviction Personal Responsibility Agreement (PRA) requirement, end the sanction after the one-month penalty is served AND the participant with the disqualifying felony drug conviction meets one of the following criteria:
●Successfully completes, or is accepted into, a substance abuse treatment program. The person also meets these criteria when they are:
Currently accepted for treatment in a substance abuse treatment program but is on a waiting list. The person must remain enrolled and enter the treatment program at the first available opportunity.
Currently accepted for treatment and participating in a substance abuse treatment program.
●Determined by a licensed medical provider to not need substance abuse treatment.
●When applicable, complies with all terms of probation related to the conviction.
