CA Sanctions

When a participant fails to comply with any of the CA program requirements specified in the Personal Responsibility Agreement (FAA‑1523A), it may be necessary to sanction the CA case. See PRA for detailed information on when graduated sanctions are imposed and a description of the specific penalties involved.

FAA is responsible for imposing graduated sanctions for state CA cases and progressive sanctions for Tribal TANF cases. Tribal TANF progressive sanction policy and procedures are outlined as follows:
