When Adding a Participant Causes a Benefit Increase
When adding a participant to a case results in an increase in benefits, the following apply:
●Participants must complete the
SSN requirements, verify income and any other required or questionable information. (See the
Eligibility Factors Table for the eligibility factors required for each program.)
●Determine the new participant's work program requirements or exemption status. Key the appropriate code in the PAR/EXEM field on WORW.
●The effective date to add the participant depends on whether the change is reported and
verified timely or
untimely.
