Intentional Program Violation (IPV) Definition
 
An intentional program violation (IPV) is an intentional act committed by an individual designated as a violation through a disqualification hearing. These acts include, and are not limited to, any of the following:
 
Making false or misleading statements.
Misrepresenting, concealing, or withholding facts.
 
For NA, an IPV includes acts that violate NA regulations regarding the use of NA benefits in any of the following ways:
 
Acquisition.
Possession.
Presentation.
Receipt.
Transfer.
 
For CA, an IPV includes any of the following intentional acts:
 
Misrepresentation, concealment, or the withholding of facts.
Providing false or misleading statements.
