Verification Methods of Liquid Assets

Methods of verification of liquid assets may include any of the following:

●Written verification such as a signed release to the appropriate institution.

●A collateral contact when the participant provides the name of the contact.

NOTE Collateral contact can only be made to clarify documented verification or when the participant is unable to obtain the verification and asks for assistance.

●A scheduled home visit only when other collateral or written verification is not available or is insufficient to make a determination.

When verification has not been received by the processing deadline and the participant is continuing to cooperate, take the appropriate the case.
