Savings Accounts

A savings account in a bank, credit union, or a savings and loan association is countable as a resource.
 
The following savings accounts are not countable as a resource:
 
●Self-employment business accounts.
●Health Savings Account (HSA)
 
Key the following Financial Account Codes on FIAC:
 
●SV for bank savings accounts
●CU for credit union savings accounts
●OX for ABLE savings accounts and HSAs
