This section includes information about missed interviews.
Policy
Participants who do not complete an interview by the deadline provided in the appointment notice are responsible to contact FAA as soon as possible to complete their interview.
Benefits may be delayed when an interview is completed after the appointment notice date but before the time frame to determine eligibility for the program.
When an interview is not completed by the eligibility determination time frame, benefits are denied or stopped.
For NA, the participant may contact FAA after denial or closure of NA benefits to complete their interview without providing a new application for each of the following:
New applications, by the 30th calendar day after the application is denied.
Renewal applications, by the 30th calendar day after the approval period ends.
NOTE NA benefits are prorated from the date of the interview.
For CA, the participant is required to submit a new application after CA benefits are denied or stopped because they did not complete an interview.
