When asked where to begin or start the list, key the letters in the alphabet that comes before the letters of the code being searched. For example, to view child support codes, key CR. When ENTER is pressed with nothing keyed, the list starts at the beginning.
Reading Parameter Tables
The parameters on the tables list in alphabetical order or in effective date order. Pressing ENTER moves to the next page of table information.
When available, review guidelines at the bottom of the table to identify how to read the column information.
Some tables have dates (MMDDYY format) that identify the date the code became available for use, and the date the code can no longer be used. The dates allow AZTECS to determine eligibility based on current or prior information. Current codes are indicated by a 999999 in the EFFECTIVE TO DATE or TO DATE field.
