Review the AF WERE EXEMPTION field on WERE for Tribal TANF codes.
When the receiving site code services that Tribal TANF program, complete the following:
●Authorize benefits.
●Send the appropriate notice on NORE.
●Close the alert.
When the receiving site code does not service that Tribal TANF program complete the following:
●Remove the Tribal TANF code from the AF WERE EXEMPTION field.
●Review the case file(g) and AZTECS for any other exemptions, and key the appropriate code in the AF WERE EXEMPTION field as necessary.
●Authorize benefits.
●Send the appropriate notice on NORE.
●Close the alert.
