NONLEAD ADD BACK IN ACTS Alert (NL)
Pre-defined alert initiated by FAA staff using the NL Alert Type Code
This alert is for disqualified NA participants due to quitting a job, reducing work hours, or refusing a job offer. When the disqualification period ends, the participant is added to the NA benefits.

Due Date Assigned by ACTS
30 calendar days from the date the alert is generated.
Action
When the ACTS alert is received, determine how many months the nonlead participant disqualification period must last by reviewing both the following fields on DISA (PAGE 2):
●The VQ START DT field displays the month the disqualification started.
●The DISQ PERIOD field indicates the number of months the disqualification must last.
When the disqualification period needs to last another 30 days, complete all of the following:
●Extend the NL ACTS Alert by another 30 days.
When the disqualification period has ended, complete all of the following
●Review the case file and all AZTECS screens.
●Complete ININ inquiries for the participant being added.
●Determine how the change affects benefits.
●Verify eligibility factors that affect eligibility and benefit level.
●Review for any reported changes for work registration and SNAP CAN Referral.
●Add the nonlead participant to the NA benefits beginning with the first month after the disqualification period ends.
●Send the appropriate change notice.
●Document the case file.
●Close the alert.
