NA Restaurant Meals Program
Information on this page refers to the Nutrition Assistance program
The Restaurant Meals Program includes prepared meals from participating restaurants and the deli section of any participating grocery stores.
Policy
The Restaurant Meals Program (also known as the hot meals program) is an NA program that allows certain participants to use their Electronic Benefit Transaction (EBT) card to purchase prepared meals from participating restaurants and retailers.
This program is available when all participants in the NA budgetary unit meet any of the following eligibility requirements:
Elderly (60 years of age or older)
The spouse of an NA participant who is eligible for the RMP and is included in the budgetary unit

AZTECS Keying Procedures
AZTECS automatically determines whether a budgetary unit is eligible to use their NA benefits for prepared meals based on any of the following:
The age of the participant keyed on SSDO
Whether the participant has a disability when Y is keyed on SSDO
When the budgetary unit is considered homeless, and Y is keyed on INDA
