This section explains budgeting adoption, foster care, and guardian subsidy payments.
Procedures
To determine the monthly income amount for guardian subsidy, foster care, and adoption subsidy, review all income received in the past 30 calendar days and complete one of the following:
●When the daily rate does not vary, complete all of the following:
Multiply the daily rate by 365 calendar days.
Divide the results by 12 to determine a monthly amount.
●When the daily rate varies, complete all of the following:
Calculate a daily average amount by adding the income received in the past 30 calendar days and divide it by the amount of days paid.
Multiply the daily average amount by 365 calendar days.
Divide by 12 to determine the monthly amount.
AZTECS Keying Procedures
Key all of the following on UNIN to enter the monthly income amount next to the child for whom the payment is intended:
●The income type in the TY field.
●The income subtype in the SUB TYP field, as needed.
●The monthly income amount in the AMOUNT field
●The verification code in the VR field.
