Inheritance is countable as a resource, as follows:
 
●Treat cash inheritance as a lump sum.
●Treat the value of specific inherited items as resources available in the month received. (See Financial Accounts, Vehicles, Liquid Assets, and Other Assets for the specific resource policy for the type of resource received.)
