Alert Codes
Alert codes are keyed in AZTECS and provide brief notifications about the following:
●Special conditions and certain situations requiring mandatory keying of Alert Codes. (See
Mandatory Alert Codes)
Space for Alert Codes is limited on PRAP. Key all required mandatory Alert Codes first. Key other appropriate Alert Codes as space permits.
The following Participation Disqualification Alert Code types must be keyed in the third alert type field on PRAP next to the disqualified participant, regardless of the number of other person alerts:
●FD (Felony Drug Conviction)
●FF (Fleeing Felon)
●IP - Intentional Program Violation (IPV)
NOTE Keying these alert types in the first or second field on PRAP next to the disqualified elderly participant or person with a disability incorrectly allows the household special consideration.
Key Program Alerts in the PROGRAM ALERTS section of PRAP.
Key Person Alerts in the CLIENT section of PRAP.
NOTE FAA workers can remove some alerts. Workers with an AZTECS profile of Supervisor, Local Office Manager, or Program Administrator can also remove the alert codes on PRAP. When assistance is needed to remove an alert, contact the
FAA Systems Help Desk.
