State Assistance Types of Resources - Real Property - Income Producing Property
Real property that is used to produce income is NOT COUNTABLE.
 
Income producing property can include, but is not limited to, the following:
 
●Tools
●Equipment
●Property that does not qualify as a homestead. (See Homestead Qualifications)
 
The property remains NOT COUNTABLE during periods of time when the property is not in use due to reasons such as the following:
 
●Illness
●Layoff
●Natural disaster
