Work Registrant Definition
 
Work registrants are NA participants, age 16 to 59, who do not qualify for any of the work requirement exemptions and are subject to the NA work requirements.
 
NOTE When work registrants fail to comply with any of the NA work requirements, they can be disqualified(g).
 
An NA work registrant is a person who meets one of the following criteria:
 
Does not qualify for any of the work requirement exemptions.
Qualifies for an ABAWD exemption and does not qualify for any of the NA work requirement exemptions.
For example, a participant is a work registrant when they qualify for an ABAWD exemption because they are responsible for a 10-year-old child and do not qualify for any of the work requirement exemptions.
