Archie and Edith are receiving NA with their two children, Mike and Gloria. The budgetary unit received a Grant Diversion payment.
 
The NA budgetary unit is Basic categorically eligible for NA for the three month Grant Diversion period.
 
In month two, Archie and Edith separate. Both Mike and Gloria live with Archie. The original NA budgetary unit becomes two NA budgetary units; Edith is her own NA budgetary unit; Archie, Mike, and Gloria are a separate NA budgetary unit.
 
Both NA budgetary units remain Basic categorically eligible for the last month of the three month Grant Diversion period due to the following:
 
Edith's NA budgetary unit benefited from receipt of TANF benefits and services.
Archie's NA budgetary unit include a participant who is eligible to receive CA (TANF benefits or services).
 
When the three month Grant Diversion period ends and Archie and Edith continue to be two separate NA budgetary units, both budgetary units are Expanded categorically eligible.
