Resources Disqualification Period - NA

The disqualification period for participants applying for benefits begins the month of application.
 
The disqualification period for participants receiving NA begins with the first benefits issued after the NOAA has expired, unless the participant has requested an Appeal and continued benefits. Complete the following:
 
●Determine the amount in excess of the resource limit. Add the value of the transferred resource to other countable resources, and subtract the total from the maximum NA resource limit.
●Determine the disqualification period from the following:

●Send the NA – Ineligbile (F210) notice on NORE explaining the reason for the disqualification and the length of the disqualification period.
 
NOTE The disqualification period is not keyed in AZTECS. Document the case file(g) thoroughly to ensure the disqualification period is enforced.
