Zero Pay Period Definition
A time period in which an employee is not scheduled to work, resulting in no income for a full pay period.
Zero-pay periods include, but are not limited to, the following:
●Holiday breaks in employment
●On-call employment
●Temporary business shut down
●Family and Medical Leave (FMLA)
●Leave without pay (LWOP)
