Work Registrant Definition
A Work Registrant is an NA participant aged 16 to 59, who does not meet an NA Work Requirement Exemption. (See NA Work Requirement Exemptions for a list of exemptions.)
Worker Definition
An FAA employee responsible for determining eligibility for public assistance programs. Public assistance programs include the following:
CA (Cash Assistance)
NA (Nutrition Assistance)
MA (Medical Assistance)
TC (Tuberculosis Control)
Worker includes, and is not limited to, any of the following:
Eligibility Interviewer (EI)
Supervisor
Office Support Staff (OST)
Employee
Contractor
Temporary Employee
Program Services Evaluator (PSE)
Volunteer
 
Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Definition
The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) is a comprehensive workforce investment system whose purpose is to increase productivity and reduce welfare dependency. WIOA provides workforce investment activities designed to increase all of the following:
Employment
Employment retention and earnings
Occupational skills
Quality of the workforce
WIOA includes, and is not limited to, all of the following:
Allowances
Dislocated Worker Program
Disaster Relief Employment funded under the National Emergency Grant of the Act Earnings
Individual Training Accounts (ITA) designated to supplement or pay for all costs for training at a qualified institution.
On-the-Job-Training (OJT) income
Payments
Reimbursements
