When CHANGES in income ARE EXPECTED in the benefit month, use the appropriate income period and project the income changes using the best available information.

 

The prior income may NOT be an accurate indicator of future income because changes are expected. When this occurs, use the verified changes to project the income expected to be received in the benefit month.

 

For the benefit month, when part (some) of the income is known, use the known gross pay amounts and the projected change amount.

 

Using the known gross income received AND the projected change amount, convert the income and key the amount on STAA.
