NA Overpayment Compromise – Compromise Determination - Decision - Denial

When the person requesting the compromise is not eligible for a compromise, a NUTRITION ASSISTANCE COMPROMISE DENIAL notice is sent with one of the following reasons:
 
●Compromise household income exceeds 200% of the Federal Poverty Level
●Discretionary income exceeds $500
●Overpayment compromise amount exceeds the balance due for the overpayment
●Compromise household is already approved for an NA overpayment compromise
●REQUEST FOR COMPROMISE OF OVERPAYMENT FINANCIAL STATEMENT FORM was not completed and/or returned by the required deadline
●Signed NUTRITION ASSISTANCE OVERPAYMENT OFFER OF COMPROMISE was not returned by the required deadline
●The person responsible for the overpayment has requested an appeal and the final decision has not been issued
●The person responsible for the overpayment has been found guilty of an Intentional Program Violation and/or fraud related to the overpayment
