Medicinal Marijuana refers to the use of marijuana as a physician recommended form of medicine or herbal therapy.

 

Under the United States Controlled Substances Act marijuana is a Schedule I controlled substance. Marijuana is not allowable for medical use and cannot be prescribed for medicinal purposes.
