Case Involvement Definition
Case involvement includes, but is not limited to, the following:
●Accessing and viewing case information
●Registering applications
●Issuing EBT cards
●Submitting verification or verifying information on behalf of an individual with whom you have a conflict of interest

When the employee, contractor, volunteer or temporary employee is the only person that can provide the verification the employee, contractor, volunteer or temporary employee must contact their supervisor to receive written approval from the Region Program Manager (RPM). The written approval must accompany the verification in the case file(g).

●Determining eligibility benefits
●Interfering with the application or interview process
●Viewing or uploading into OnBase and HEAplus
●Conducting interviews
●Making changes to the case file
●Completing case reads
●Intervening between the participant and FAA staff except when pre-approved by the RPM as the Authorized Representative.
●Case specific discussion with another FAA employee, contractor, volunteer or temporary employee that is not for an official work- related reason
●Authorizing supplemental benefits including Grant Diversion
