Participation Status
Each NEW program is responsible for determining the participation status of its participants as follows:
 
●Each tribe with an approved NEW program establishes its own participation criteria.
●The NEW worker evaluates all budgetary unit participants to determine each participant's participation status.
●NEW notifies FAA, using the Information Exchange (FAA-1433A) form, when an enrolled tribal member within its NEW program area moves out of that service delivery area.
●Code participants appropriately referred to NEW, RT in the PAR/EXEM field. These participants are exempt from, and are not served by, Jobs.
