Cash Assistance Resource Determination (AFRD)
The AFRD screen summarizes information keyed or changed on the resource screens.
AFRD also displays the result of the CA resource eligibility determination.
AFRD must be passed through even when resources are not keyed when a change is processed in any of the previous AZTECS roadmap screens.
The results of the CA resource eligibility test display at the bottom of the screen with one of the following messages:
●CASE HAS PASSED THE RESOURCE DETERMINATION TEST
●CASE HAS FAILED THE RESOURCE DETERMINATION TEST
When the resource determination test displays PASS, continue to key all applicable AZTECS screens to process the eligibility determination.
When the resource determination test displays FAIL, review the information to ensure accuracy. Close or deny the case on AFED.
To return to any of the resource screens, place the cursor to the far left of the resource to be viewed or changed. Key X, and press ENTER. AZTECS returns to the applicable resource screen.
The
equity value(g) of all countable resources cannot be more than the maximum
CA resource limit.
The value of all countable resources must be compared to the maximum CA resource limit at renewal.
