Drug Test Not Completed

When the participant does not complete the required drug test complete the following:
 
●Disqualify the adult participant who did not complete the required test.
●Key the DT Ineligible Reason Code in the INELIG REASON field on SEPA.
●On the PRAP screen next to the participant(s) who did not complete a required drug test, key NT in the ALERT TYPE field.
●Determine CA eligibility for the budgetary unit.
●Send the Disqualified –Controlled Substance (A704) notice to the participant.
 
NOTE When the only CA eligible participants are disqualified, close the case. Key the DT Denial Closure Reason Code on AFED. Send the D/C Controlled Substance (A213) notice.
 
A participant may be disqualified for failing to complete the required drug test. When the participant requests to be added to the CA program, the participant must complete the required drug test.
 
When the participant requests to be added back to the CA program after disqualification for not completing a required drug test a new referral for a drug test is required. (See Drug Test Referral Procedure)
 
NOTE When the CA case is closed, the participant must turn in a new application.
