State Assistance Benefit Selection - Types of Changes - Changes in Resources - Excess Resources Reported for Pending Application
The PI may report excess resources while an application is pending. They are ineligible for any month in which countable resources exceed the
resource limits. The following apply:
●The participants may be resource ineligible the month of decision. Deny the application when it cannot be determined whether they are eligible for the following month.
●Send the PI the appropriate denial notice. The notice must explain that the PI must provide verification of how resources were reduced, should they reapply.
