Interview Process – Home-Based Interviews
A home-based interview can be made for reasons that include, but are not limited to, the following:
 
The EI and supervisor have reason to believe that an eligibility error can be avoided by conducting a home-based interview.
The participant is disabled and homebound and requests a home-based interview.
The participant lacks transportation and requests a home-based interview.
The participant has a valid reason for not being able to appear for an office interview and requests a home-based interview.
 
NOTE Obtain supervisor approval for a home-based interview.
