EBT Benefit Issuance and Availability - Closed Cases

The QUEST card does not expire when a case is closed. The participant is entitled to use funds remaining in the account after the case is closed.
 
Encourage participants to keep their QUEST cards when their CA, NA, or ST case is closed. The same card can be used when the participant becomes eligible for benefits at a later date unless the card was reported as lost, stolen, or damaged.
 
WARNING
Do not change the status of the QUEST card when closing a case.
