WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) Hotline
A referral for the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program page is included in the application flow in Health-e-Arizona Plus (HEAplus) for all programs. The page is displayed when any of the following conditions are met:
●Household includes a pregnant woman.
●Household includes at least one child under the age of five.
NOTE A referral is only sent to WIC when the participant answers “Yes.” Answering the questions on the page is optional.
The HEAplus Splash page is revised to provide information for participants regarding WIC benefits. The “Learn More” link on the Splash Page navigates participants to the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) WIC webpage which displays in either English or Spanish based on the language selected when viewing HEAplus. This webpage provides all of the following:
●Additional information about WIC
●Qualifying factors for WIC
●Link and instructions for how to start an application
