An individual employed in a state agency or institution.
 
WARNING
An Arizona state employee or their child is potentially eligible for KidsCare when one of the following applies to the Arizona state employee's employment status:
●Works less than 20 hours per week.
●Seasonal, temporary, emergency, or clerical pool.
●Patients or inmates employed in a state institution.
●Non-state employee officers and enlisted personnel of the National Guard of Arizona.
●Positions established for rehabilitation purposes.
●State college or university employees who meet one of the following:
Works less than 20 hours per week
Engaged to work for less than six months
Not part of a state retirement plan
