Parental Control Definition
 
A child under age 18 is under parental control when another adult household member meets one of the following:
 
●Provides any financial (or in-kind) support to the child.
●Exercises any authority over the child.
 
NA EXCEPTION
Participants under age 18 are not considered under parental control when they have been legally emancipated.
