A noncitizen was granted temporary residence status.

 

The noncitizen applied for NA, and was approved.

 

Three years later, the noncitizen was granted permanent resident status.

 

The noncitizen is considered potentially eligible for the remainder of the seven years beginning on the date the Lawful Permanent Residence status was granted.

 

At the end of the seven year period, the Lawful Permanent Resident noncitizen must meet noncitizen eligibility criteria to remain eligible.
