Income Request Period Definition
 
An Income Request Period (IRP) is an identified period of 30 days or longer in which gross income is verified. The IRP is identified and documented during the interview and change processes.
 
Use the IRP to budget a participant’s income for the remainder of an approval period when it is normal and expected to continue. (See Income Budgeting for details on budgeting income.)
