Filing for Unemployment Insurance (UI) Benefits
Participants must file a claim for Unemployment Insurance (UI) benefits online, by phone or mail.
 
To file a claim for UI benefits online, access the following web site: http://www.azui.com.
 
To file a claim for UI benefits by phone, call any of the following numbers:

To file a claim for UI benefits by mail, complete the Arizona Initial claim for Unemployment Insurance (UB 105) form.
 
A participant will know his or her application is successfully completed online or over the phone when both of the following applies:
 
Reaching the end of the application certifying the statements made on the application are true
Receiving a confirmation number
 
NOTE Participants under the age of 18 years may be eligible for UI benefits as long as they meet the eligibility criteria in federal law.
 
Participants must file a claim every week when they are unemployed, or underemployed.
 
When a participant does not have access to an internet connection, a One-Stop Center or DES Employment Service office resource center provides computer usage free of charge. For locations, see the Arizona Job Connection web site.
 
Participants can call the Automated Telephone System to listen to recorded information about their claim and payment status by calling any of the following numbers:
