The person to whom a present or future benefit is assigned. The benefit can be any of the following:

●Property
●Other benefits, as from any of the following:
Insurance policy
Trust
Will
A beneficiary may also be the owner of an interest by assignment or other transfer and any person entitled to enforce a trust.
