113 Interpretation Services
When a free source of interpretation is not available, contact a provider from one of the following interpretation services:
 
 
Interpretation agencies need at least five workdays(g) notice before sending an interpreter and requires pre-approval. An interpreter may be provided within one to two workdays for expedited cases. When an interpreter is needed, complete the following:
 
Arrange for an interpretation services from any of the Foreign Language Interpreters agencies.
Complete the Requisition Input (AS-800) form. The AS-800 form is available in the Document Center.
Send the completed AS-800 form to the site code's Region Office for approval.
 
EXCEPTION
Language Line Services is available for immediate use without requiring pre-approval.
