Liquid Assets - Ownership and Availability

Determine the ownership of the liquid asset to establish whether the resource is available to the participant. Consider the resource as available to the participant, from the point in time that the participant becomes aware that the resource is legally available.

NA EXCEPTION

Liquid assets are not countable when the budgetary unit is NA Categorically Eligible (Basic or Expanded).
