Items Purchased With American Indian Claims or Funds
When a participant uses the funds to purchase an item, the item is not countable as a resource indefinitely when all of the following apply:
●The item was purchased only with the Indian Claims or funds.
●Documentation is provided. The documentation must include the amount of American Indian Claims or funds received and the purchase price of the item.

When a participant uses American Indian Claims or funds to purchase an item that is a countable resource, the item is countable as a resource.
