As a condition of initial or ongoing eligibility, a CA participant cannot quit working or reduce their work efforts without a good cause. This is known as a work requirement disqualification.

 

When the participant has engaged in a work requirement disqualification without good cause, the CA budgetary unit is subject to graduated sanctions. When the PI voluntarily quits working or reduces work effort without good cause, the CA case is closed
