J Noncitizen Keying Procedures

Eligibility for specific programs is determined by keying the appropriate codes in the PT field on SEPA and the CI field on IDCI.
 
When the noncitizen is eligible for CA and NA, key the following:
 
IN in the PT field on SEPA for CA and NA
EA in the CI field on IDCI
 
When the noncitizen is eligible for NA but not eligible for CA, key the following:
 
IN in the PT field on SEPA for NA
DI in the PT field on SEPA for CA
EF in the CI field on IDCI
 
When the noncitizen is not eligible for CA and NA, key the following:
 
DI in the PT field on SEPA for CA and NA
EA in the CI field on IDCI
 
When the noncitizen is without USCIS documentation, key the following:
 
DI in the PT field on SEPA for CA and NA
OT in the CI field on IDCI
 
When the noncitizen has USCIS documentation, but does not meet the 5 year bar or 40 Quarters key the following:
 
DI in the PT field on SEPA for CA and NA
IA in the CI field on IDCI
 
When the noncitizen has USCIS documentation, but is NOT eligible for ANY program, key the following:
 
DI in the PT field on SEPA for CA and NA
IA in the CI field on IDCI
N in the RES field on RARE
NQ in the DENIAL/CLOSURE REASON field on AFPD
NQ in the DEN/CLOSE REAS field on FSAD
