NA Participant Completes the Interview in the Second 30 Day Period
When the denial is due to failure to complete the interview process, take the following steps:
 
●Prorate the NA benefits from the later of the following:
The date the NA participant completes the interview.
The first day of the second month.
●Key the appropriate date in the BEN PRORATION DATE field on APMA.
●Authorize the determination on FSAD or FSED.
●Send the F124 notice for case approval. When the case is denied, send the appropriate NA denial notice.
 
WARNING
When the participant fails to contact FAA by the 30th day, deny the application. (See NA Compliance, Second 30 Days)
