FSMI - Purpose
FSMI is used by the FAA EBT Emergency Benefits Unit to issue emergency NA EBT benefits. Policy and procedures regarding emergency NA EBT benefits are outlined at EBT NA Expedite.
 
FSMI is also used to issue NA benefits directly to a budgetary unit by the FAA EBT Emergency Benefits Unit. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:
 
●When NA benefits must be issued, for any reason, because of special considerations.
●When disaster relief teams are sent to the field in emergencies.
 
WARNING
FSMI can be accessed only by the EBT Emergency Benefits Unit.
