Lynda (PI) is reapplying for CA after a three month break in benefits. At the interview, Lynda stated she received two child support checks a month, each for $50. In further discussion with Lynda, she stated that the absent parent was ordered to pay $70 semi-monthly for her four children. The absent parent is the father of all four children.

 

CHSP displays two $70 checks issued for the prior month.

 

A discrepancy exists between the amount reported by Lynda and the information displayed on CHSP. Since there was a discrepancy, the EI elevated the facts of the situation via email to the Policy Support Team (PST) for a resolution.

 

When Lynda's CA stopped, child support payments continued to display on CHSP because she is known to AZTECS.
