CA PRA Immunization Noncompliance for Renewal Applications

(01/01/24 –12/31/24)
For ongoing cases, the PI may refuse, or the agency may become aware of a failure, to comply with the PRA Immunization Requirement. When this occurs, allow the budgetary unit ten days to prove Immunization good cause.

When verification of compliance is not received within ten calendar days of the request, treat any reason for claiming good cause as a valid claim allowing a participant statement as verification. (For more information, see Immunization Good Cause Reasons)

NOTE When the participant refuses to comply, key IM in the first available AF ALERT TYPE field on PRAP. Take action to sanction or deny the case as appropriate.
